Sophia Stone of Los Angeles Presents at National Neuroscience Conference Headline

Sophia Stone of Los Angeles, California, a student at Mary Baldwin College (MBC) in Staunton, Va., attended and presented at the Society for Neuroscience Annual meeting in Washington D.C., one of the largest scientific meetings in the world with more than 30,000 attendees. Stone was among three students from MBC who presented posters about research conducted in the college's psychology department, sought out cutting-edge research relevant to other projects in biology and chemistry, and made contacts with potential graduate programs. The students were accompanied by Professor of Psychology Louise Freeman.
