Iota Sigma Pi, the National Honor Society for Women in Chemistry, selected Bethany Taylor '20 to receive the 2020 Undergraduate Award for Excellence in Chemistry. The award recognizes excellence in chemistry by a woman undergraduate student who is in the first generation of her family to go to college.

The Nancy Morse Evans Leadership Award was created in 2017 through the generosity of Nancy Morse Evans, Class of 1970. This award recognizes one occupational therapy, physical therapy, and RN to BSN graduating student who demonstrate academic excellence, clinical distinction, and a record of service and leadership while in their program. The award includes scholarship funds as well as recognition on a special plaque housed at Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences.

Students, faculty, staff, and friends of Mary Baldwin University gathered inside Francis Auditorium on March 30, 2017 for Honors Convocation, a ceremony to recognize student academic achievement.

Awarded to a Baldwin Online and Adult Program student for his or her academic achievements, service to the university, and service to their community.

Students were reconized at the undergraduate honors convocation ceremony as Global Honor Scholars on March 30.

Awarded through the Mary Baldwin University Spencer Center for Civic and Global Engagment.

This award is given to students in the health care administration program.

Awarded to an outstanding student in the Mary Baldwin sociology department.

Awarded to the most outstanding student in the physics department at Mary Baldwin University.

The Margarett Kable Russell Award is given in memory of Margarett Kable Russell, editor of the 1902 Bluestocking and the first woman member of the Mary Baldwin Board of Trustees. The award is presented annually by the Mary Baldwin Alumnae/i Association and the Board of Trustees. The recipient, selected by a vote of the faculty, is a rising senior outstanding in academic achievement, character, and service. The person honored is known as the Russell Scholar and works on a special research project in her field. A paper written on the research is bound and kept on permanent file in the university library. The award includes funds for a research project designed by the student with a faculty advisor.

Given to the top student in the Criminal Justice department at Mary Baldwin University.

This award acknowledges the outstanding work, accomplishments, and growth of a selected art history major and a studio art major. It also signifies the capacity of the recipients to carry forward a high level of quality within her studio practice and/or art history scholarship beyond Mary Baldwin University.

Two Pre-Ministry Carpenter Awards of $2500 each are awarded annually to Ministry minors and/or Religion majors or minors who demonstrate an overall commitment to a post-graduate career or life-long avocation of ministry. Both scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit and financial need. All students engaged in the Carpenter Preparation for Ministry program are invited to express interest in these awards. Philosophy and Religion faculty, working with representatives of the financial aid office, and the registrar's office, collect the pertinent information necessary to make appropriate decisions. Decisions as to scholarship winners are made late in the spring semester of each academic year.

Mary Baldwin University student awarded Amy M. Rupe Award for Excellence in Asian Studies.

The award was established by classmates of Alice McCaa, a 1976 Mary Baldwin University Biology major whose early death from cancer led to her fellow students establishing the annual award as a memorial to her.
